RTI

According to the Right to Information Act which has been enacted from 12.10.2005 throughout India (except Jammu & Kashmir) any citizen of India has the constitutional right to get information concerned department (S.P.I.O) against requisite fee.

 

1. The information sought for should be clearly specified. Only information can be sought, no unspecified item, unregistered opinion, legal explanation can be sought.

2. The application should be clearly be written/typed on plain paper or prescribed format.

3. Submit the application to the S.P.I.O according to Section 6(1) of RTI Act.

4. Please affix/supply court fee of Rs. 10.00 (as per amendment Rule) I.P.O., Non Judicial Stamp paper, D.D, Bankers cheque with the application.

5. If, you are enlisted as a person of BPL no application fee will be required. Photocopy of BPL card / certificate has to be enclosed along with your application.
